Congregational Care
The key verse of Scripture for our Congregational Care Team is Galatians 6:10: “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
Our Congregational Care Team seeks to minister to our church in ways that prove that the gospel isn’t theoretical. People have real needs, and our Congregational Care Team works to fill them. In doing this, we hope to give people who call Grace Church “home” a picture of who Jesus really is.
Here are a few of the ways our Congregational Care Team reaches out to those in need:
- Meeting counseling needs—for example, in financial, marital or spiritual matters.
- Visiting those who are sick or in the hospital.
- Helping with car repairs.
- Helping families who have recently had a baby.
- Visiting people in nursing homes.
