441 Ministries’ will celebrate all the good that is happening in the Beechwood Neighborhood with their first neighborhood festival! There will be food, music, kid’s activities, and more to bring neighbors and friends together in fellowship. People who attend will also have opportunities to hear about the programs of 441 and New City Café and the new projects that are underway—adjacent properties are being remodeled into affordable housing units, a coffee roastery, and a completely overhauled laundromat. The festival will take place from 4-7 pm in the yard behind New City Café and we would especially like to welcome volunteers and supporters who have faithfully served this ministry.
Grace Church will also be collecting a special freewill offering to support this event and raise funds. The offering will be collected on Sunday, August 1, and Sunday, August 8. Checks, payable to Grace Church and marked “441 Event” can be placed in the wooden church at the back of the sanctuary or mailed to the church office.
Please pray for the Fall Festival to bless Beechwood and for God to continue to move with healing and hope in this neighborhood.
