Grab your bicycle, tricycle, unicycle, tandem, or scooter and join us for a family-friendly bike ride to Pittsford Farms Dairy!

There are two options for this ride.

The Heiseys will be starting from the Roundhouse Shelter in Genesee Valley Park at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 20. The route will use the Erie Canal Heritage Trail / Empire State Trail. This route is paved in its entirety and there are two road crossings with crosswalks. (One at Lock E32 and one by Pittsford Farms Dairy.) We will have an adult by the crossing for kids to cross. Expect some minor hills. The route is 7.1 miles long in one direction and will take approximately 45 minutes, including stops for water. If 14.2 miles is too long, families could plan out having their car moved to PFD to make it a one-way ride.

For people not comfortable with (or ready for) quite so long a distance, feel free to join in on the ride starting from the parking lot at Lock E32. Biking or walking from E32 to Pittsford Farms Dairy is 2.0 miles in one direction. Invite a friend to join us for some exercise and treats!
