We are in full summer mode here. Luke is working at a YL Camp this summer, running the waterfront. We miss him, but we are grateful that he is getting to serve in this way. Ellie is graduating this weekend from HS and is planning on attending Fisher for nursing. We are so excited for her and would love prayers for wisdom in covering that financially. Madi is done with her freshman year of HS and enjoying her time with friends, looking forward to summer camp in July.
Sam recently lost her job at Roberts. They had a number of layoffs, and her position was one of the vulnerable ones. This has impacted our plan for covering college for our kids, and we are praying that an opportunity for her would open up quickly. Ideally, we would love for her to be working in another position at Roberts or at Fisher as this would allow our kids to receive free tuition. In the meantime, we are enjoying some time together at home!
Our camp trip to Saranac is July 15-20 and it is full. Praise God! We would love your prayers for that week, that students would clearly hear and respond to the Gospel message. One student coming with us - Andrew - has special needs, and I will be his buddy for the week. I would love prayer for myself and Andrew. I have never been in this role at camp, and I am praying that God would give me wisdom in how I can help make this a special week for Andrew.
