May 26 — Max & Sam Herbert

Dear Grace Family,

We have had an incredible semester of Young Life and Wyldlife! As we begin to wind down and turn our hearts toward the summer season, we are overflowing with gratitude.

Our dedicated volunteers have spent the last few months investing in the lives of our students. Whether it was grabbing coffee, cheering at games, shopping, or hitting the gym, these moments were about more than just hanging out—they were about building bridges. In the midst of the fun, we’ve had intentional conversations sharing the transformative love of Christ.

I love the spring season because it mirrors our mission: we are leaving a season that seemed dormant and entering one full of new life. Our constant prayer as we spend time with these kids is that they, too, would experience the beauty of new life in Christ!

Family Update

On the home front, the Herbert family is doing well:

Sam is loving her role working at Roberts Wesleyan University.

Luke is already a junior at Roberts, while Ellie is navigating her freshman year as a nursing student.

Madi is currently wrapping up Driver’s Ed and—much to our nerves and her excitement—cannot wait to hit the road!

Time is flying by, and we are eagerly looking forward to having everyone under one roof for some quality time this summer.

Thank you so much for your partnership. We are truly grateful for the way you support us and for everything you do to be a light in our community. We couldn't do this without you!

For Christ and kids,
Max
