Blaise Pascal said it best "... there is within each of us a God-shaped vacuum".
We were created for intimate relationship - a place where we are fully known and fully loved. We all long for this level of connection. To ignore this deepest cry of our souls is denial of our true self. In God is where this deepest, grandest dream comes true. We were made for intimate connection with our Creator...
Almost since the formation of the PCA denomination in 1973, local people had been praying for one in Rochester. In August, 2002, a core group of three families met with Pastor and Church Planter Cron Gibson to pray, plan and pursue God for the beginning of Grace Church. The vision became a reality as worship services were begun in Bushnell’s Basin. The group soon outgrew initial quarters, moved to its present Penfield location, and in October, 2005, became a Particular Church of the PCA. The fellowship has grown to over 100 members with vibrant Sunday worship services, a number of small groups and a desire to welcome those in the Rochester community with the love Christ has shown to us.
